Heatwave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated places in Adilabad, Komuram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, and Nizamabad districts of Telangana over the next 24 hours, the Meteorological Centre said on Tuesday.
In its daily weather report, the Centre stated that thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds (30–40 kmph) are likely at isolated places across the State over the next seven days.

During the last 24 hours, heatwave conditions were recorded at isolated pockets in Adilabad district, while rain occurred at one or two places across the State.
The highest maximum temperature of 45.3°C was recorded at Adilabad in the past 24 hours, the report added.
